How to join (age-gated, double opt-in)

1. Text the keyword SHACK to 470-260-6888 from your mobile phone.
2. We reply with a request for your date of birth in MM/DD/YYYY format.
3. You reply with your date of birth. You must be 21 or older to continue. We use this to confirm age eligibility as required by federal law.
4. We reply asking you to reply YES to confirm consent and enroll in the program.
5. You reply YES. You are enrolled.
6. We send a welcome message with your member code, plus, for new customers, a one-time 10% off code valid for five days, plus a separate disclaimer message with frequency and STOP / HELP information.

Consent

By texting SHACK and replying YES after confirming your date of birth, you expressly consent to receive recurring marketing text messages from Tobacco Shack sent through an automated system. You confirm that you are at least 21 years old and a US resident. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

Age requirement

You must be 21 or older to join. We verify age via your date of birth at signup. Attempts that do not meet the age requirement receive a Denied Entry message and are not added to the subscriber list.

Welcome offer

New subscribers receive a one-time 10% off code valid for five days, redeemed in person at the register by showing the welcome text to staff. One per customer.

Carriers

Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and most major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

We use the phone number you provide solely to send you the messages you opted in to receive, and your date of birth solely to verify age eligibility. We never share or sell your phone number or date of birth with third parties for their own marketing. Records are retained for four years for compliance audit purposes. See our full Privacy Policy.
